According to details found on a vehicle technical artist’s LinkedIn page, Forza Horizon developer Playground Games might be working on a next-gen installment to the racing sim franchise. Playground Games employee Yibo Liu explained on his LinkedIn profile that he has been “working as the only technical artist in the vehicle art team for an undisclosed next-gen Forza project.” Liu has recently amended his work experience and replaced the mention of Forza with “an undisclosed Xbox One project....

The latest pawn in this environmental chess match is the Pacific yew tree, a scrubby conifer found from southern Alaska to central California and in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Historically the yew has not been harvested for value but often has been treated as logging slash and wasted. Not any longer. An extract of the bark of the Pacific yew known as taxol has been found to have cancer-fighting properties, particularly with ovarian cancer....

The latest back-fence talk about iPhone 5S is that it may exhibit a dual-LED, dual colour flash. As per reports from GSM Arena the next iPhone would carry one regular LED flash and one with a little blue haze. The dual colored flash is being incorporated to perk up the white balance of the photos. It is still not clear whether both LED’s would go on one time or they would go on one after another, thereby lending that little blue tint to the picture making it close to a HDR photo....

The Air Force Command of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said on Facebook that four Iranian “Shahed-136” drones had been “shot down at once” in the Mykolaiv region by mid-range anti-air missiles on Thursday. Ukraine’s Operational Command South (OCS) said that at least five of the Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which had been used in Russian attacks that caused damage but no human casualties on Thursday, had been destroyed in the region....
